Frankenburger 02/26/2010
Lately I've been "reviewing" burgers... I feel like that's a mistake. I'm not looking for the best cheeseburger on the planet. I just genuinely love cheeseburgers. Anyway... Here's the latest cheeseburger.
Ok here's the deal. No review. Where'd I get it from? Doesn't matter. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers with ketchup and lettuce, an order of onion rings and an order of fries. Then I opened them, removed the excess bread, added some fries and onion rings and then I slapped it back together. Want to know more? Make one.
Look forward to more Frankenburger creations like this and my most popular post so far the Wendy McKing.

Have you ever seen a fat chicken? 02/21/2010
I was going to take a break from this but I love burgers too much. Today's super-exciting BACON cheeseburger is from...
Pizzeria Eros, Haverhill, MA. (978) 5212500
In my line of blogging you hear things. Sometimes things that you can't ignore. Sometimes it's something that you absolutely have to experience. Believe it or not this thing was not a cheeseburger. Right away you're thinking "Don't care" but you should. I ordered from a restaurant that has a "Fat chicken parm sub". Basically a chicken parm sub with mozzarella sticks and fries in it. Amazing. But since I didn't want to disappoint you all, I also got the bacon cheeseburger dinner. So here it is.

On this carefully prepared meat feast we have bacon (obviously), american cheese (again pretty standard on a cheeseburger), lettuce, tomato and pickles. First off... I gotta stop ordering burgers with tomatoes. I love those red discs but restaurants have the nasty habit of putting them on the bottom bun under the burger. This causes the bun to get soaking wet and everything just kinda slides out.
So how was the burger? It was ok. Bacon was crispy so that's always good. But honestly the soggy bun killed it for me. I suppose it was my choice so I can't really fault them for it. Still... Other places seem to have been able to figure out how to stack em.
Go to Pizzeria Eros. Eat the pizza, get a Fat Chicken Parm and order your burger with no tomatoes. You won't regret it.

Yet another cheesy post... Get it?! CHEESY! 02/06/2010
Today's cheeseburger was purchased via www.delivery.com from...
Pizza Etc 200 Main St, Haverhill, MA. (978) 372-6996
Here's how it happened... I got home from work and I was hungry. I mean REAL hungry. What was I to do? All I had in the fridge were Dole fruit cups. FRUIT CUPS! This was unacceptable. Food had to be ordered and ordered it would be. Unfortunately my dog had learned to open the phone book and menu drawer the previous day so I had no reference material! Undaunted I reached for my MacBook and pulled up my favorite website www.menulizard.com. There I found Pizza Etc, and there was a link to their website so away I clicked. On their website there was yet another link. A link to www.delivery.com. The single greatest invention since (but not including) the cheeseburger. With their easy-to-use service I placed my cheeseburger order. I ordered a cheeseburger dinner (Cheeseburger, fries and *gag* salad) and a side order of onion rings.

It's not a bad burger. It's not the best burger. It's pretty average for the pizza shop world. But here's what you need to make it amazing...
1. Barbecue Sauce (This should always be in your fridge).
2. An order of onion rings.
Some of you may remember this as the "Rodeo Cheeseburger" that Burger King used to offer back during the "Small Soldiers" movie promotion in 1998. Now here's the tricky part... Put the onion rings and the barbecue sauce ON the cheeseburger. I know, it sounds crazy but trust me. I'm a professional.
